Frequently Asked Questions
What are your fees?
$150-$250
Do you accept insurance, or do you provide superbills for reimbursement?
I provide superbills for reimbursement at the end of every month.
How often will we meet, and how long are sessions?
Weekly or bi-weekly, depending on your preference. Sessions are 45 minutes, unless requested longer.
Do you offer in-person, online, or hybrid sessions?
As of now, only online.
What is your cancellation policy?
You must cancel within 24 hours, or you will be charged a cancellation fee.
Is what I say kept private?
Yes, all sessions are confidential and protected by HIPAA. I will always be in a private space, and I request that clients are too.
The only time confidentiality can be broken is when someone is at risk of harm. At that time, I will share with my client that I will be sharing this information for someone's safety.
How do I know this is the right fit?
Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. Each therapist has their own areas of expertise, so it’s important to find someone who aligns with your specific needs. If at any point I feel that I’m not the right fit for you, I’ll be honest about it and can refer you to someone who may be a better match.
What if I don’t feel comfortable during therapy?
If something doesn’t feel right, I encourage you to speak up. We can talk through any concerns you have and decide together on the best way forward. My goal is always to help you find a therapeutic approach that works for you.
Can I end therapy at any time?
Absolutely! Therapy is voluntary, and you are free to stop whenever you feel it’s no longer serving you. It’s meant to be a helpful, supportive process, not something that feels harmful.
What happens if I feel worse before I feel better?
Therapy can sometimes feel like a rollercoaster, with its ups and downs, but that’s part of the healing process. Deep, tough conversations can stir up strong emotions, and that’s okay. I encourage you to stay open and honest with me, because understanding how you're feeling is key for me to help you move forward.
Can I bring a family member or partner to a session?
Yes, you can! Therapy is your space, and you have the right to decide who, if anyone, you want to bring in. It’s all about what makes you feel supported.
